The Mutts Nutts Rescue
Please meet Mog & Meg. They are a bonded brother and sister pair. Both champagne/grey tips British Blue INDOOR cats. They find themselves in a search for a new home as their owner is experiencing some health issues along with a change in family circumstance and is finding Mog and Meg are not getting the attention they deserve. The difficult decision has been made to rehome them, having Mog & Meg’s best interests at heart.Mog is very gentle, sensitive and loving and can be wary of loud noises and finds change difficult. He has a very sensitive nature and gets on well with other cats. He loves interaction and playing and is good with adults and children.Meg is soft natured, easy going and loves cuddles. She is very affectionate towards her brother Mog. She is at ease with adults and children and loves to play and interact. She likes curling up and snoozing in small hiding places!Mog and Meg are indoor cats, but do have access to an outside, enclosed “catio” area. Mog and Meg are up to date with their vaccinations and flea and worm treatment and are microchipped. The Mutts Nutts Rescue are helping Mog and Meg’s current owner to find her a new loving home. She will stay in her current home whilst we search. If you are interested in finding out more or meeting Mog and Meg, we will put you in touch with their owner directly. If you want to meet these furry friends, please email bec@themuttsnuttsrescue.org to make an appointment. From there we have a process to help establish if this is the right companion for you. It may take a little time, but it ensures the very best decisions are made – we want you, - and this loving animal to be happy! ... See MoreSee Less

Please meet Terra. She is a champagne/grey British Blue INDOOR cat. Terra finds herself in a search for a new home as her owner is experiencing some health issues along with a change in family circumstance and is finding Terra is not getting the attention she deserves. The difficult decision has been made to rehome her, having Terra’s best interests at heart. Terra is an affectionate cat with a strong character who prefers the company of humans rather than other cats! She is therefore looking to be the only cat in her new home. She is a fun and playful cat and comes for lots of cuddles when she decides she wants them!Terra does require a special diet – she experiences gut bleeding when fed other foods so needs to maintain this. Terra is up to date with her vaccinations and flea and worm treatment and is microchipped. The Mutts Nutts Rescue are helping Terra’s current owner to find her a new loving home. She will stay in her current home whilst we search. If you are interested in finding out more or meeting Terra, we will put you in touch with Terra’s owner directly. If you want to meet this furry friend, please email bec@themuttsnuttsrescue.org to make an appointment. Our pop-up shop, located in the car park of Stamford Veterinary Centre, is replenished regularly. So why not take a look when you are visiting practice or passing by. It is open during the business hours. We are endlessly touched by the generosity and support of the local pet loving community who donate all manner of super pre-loved products to us for the pets in our care.Over the past two years since the pandemic first struck, we have been concentrating our efforts, and those of our volunteers, in helping poorly and elderly people keep their beloved pets with them at home, therefore most of the dogs and cats that we are helping have absolutely everything that they need.In early May, with the generous support of the team at Stamford Veterinary Centre we decided to trial a “Pop Up” store in one of the wooden sheds in the practice car park, where some of these items that are currently surplus to the charity’s needs can be offered to the local pet loving community in return for a donation. In just over 2 months not only was £550 and counting, popped into our honesty bucket, every penny of which will be used to pay for the expert veterinary care and medicines required by some of the elderly pets in our long-term foster care, local pet lovers are able to access pre-loved equipment and treats for their pets at bargain rates. ...
