****Fostering Friday****We are currently looking to expand our network of local volunteer foster carers. This could be for a short term basis (a few days, or weeks!) or a long term basis (a month plus) - this is for dogs and cats!If you are interested in pet ownership, but feel it isn't the right time to fully commit and take responsibility for your own pet, fostering may be a good option for you.We will support you with any vet visits and bills and keep in regular contact to support you and your foster animal while they need to be in a home from home environment. You may even find you then feel ready to take that next step into pet ownership, or you may just fall in love and become a "foster fail" and decide to take on the animal permanently! It happens...quite a lot!Please be aware you will be required to have a home check by one of our team. ****Thank you Thursday****Thanks to our recent Facebook post for new volunteer dog walkers we now have a new team in place! They have all been on a "trial" walk and are now walking regularly for us! To Scarlett, Julie, Jemma, Robert, Elizabeth, Lucy, Alexandra, Heather, Tina, Claire & Jacob - you are all superstars, we cannot thank you enough. This allows us to continue to offer help to paws in need of exercise! Welcome to The Mutts Nutts team!It's not too late to join in....if you are interested in helping please email bec@themuttsnuttsrescue.org for more information, or alternatively if you have been sent a volunteer form and not yet returned it, we would still love to hear from you. We are approaching holiday times and will need as much help as possible to cover all our walks!
